A three part series that Jim gave following the tragic earthquake in Haiti that killed over 200,000 people.
- The earthquake can be understood as an act of God's judgement against sinners.
- Who is God? God is love, and God is judgement. Think of describing a good parent. They are the same. When we neglect the other attributes of God's nature we are breaking the second commandment. We make our own idol. No one is good. We all deserve judgement. Disaster is a demonstration of God's. Those that still live are given a chance to repent and turn to Him.
- Luke 13:1-5 God does judge. Genesis 6:10-13 Rev 6:10-21. After repentence we come to obedience and in this we find Joy.
