A three part series that Jim gave following the tragic earthquake in Haiti that killed over 200,000 people.
- The earthquake can be understood as an act of God's judgement against sinners.
- If God is just he must judge our sin. Luke 13:1-5
- Even God's acts of judgement, are demonstrations of his grace. Because in it we are given the oppurtunity to repent.
- Does God judge Christians? Because of Christ we will never see the fullness of God's wrath. We will be judged on our works. 1 Corinthians 3:13-15
- The earthquake can be understood as the discipline of his children. Hebrew 12:5:11
- The earthquake can be understood as the consequence of living in a sinful, fallen world.
