We are back home. It is a beautiful place to be.

How is Jesus is encouraging...

1) with His words.

They are filled with sorrow because of the persecution he was telling them. But his words are meant to encourage them.

• Jesus is demonstrating that he knows all things. This is a comfort. They are not walking into the dark.
  
• Jesus is coming back them.
• They are encouraged because he not only knows all, but is in complete control.
• They are encouraged by the perfect love of Jesus. He knows, he controls, and he loves.
• They are encourage by the perfect joy of Jesus. Abiding joy comes only from Christ, instead of our circumstances.
