God's Plan for You

In this sermon Jim asked us what truly is God's plan for us as his children. This one meant a lot to me as it was only a month after Elias, my son, was born.

  1. God's Plans for You
    2. Jeremiah 29:1-14
  2. God's plans for you often come in the context of suffering.
    3. Jeremiah 7 This is a great example of a people putting faith in an institution instead of God. In this case, it was the temple. For us it might be our church or business, etc.
  3. God's plans for you primarily focus on the process of refining.
    4. Hebrews 12:4-11
  4. God's plans for us lead us to a deeper relationship with God.
    5. Phillipians 3:8-10
